Enjoy an amazing high tea at Higher Lank Farm!
Allergy friendly family high tea
All our food is home made and so making it allergy friendly is never a problem. We use our own eggs and make our own apple juice each Autumn from the wonderful apples in our Orchard, a treat you will be able to enjoy because we leave a bottle in your cottage for you to enjoy.. We buy and use lots of local produce too- Cornish shortbread (in your cottage on arrival) and lots more besides. Read what a recent visitor has to say about her experience with her severely allergic child.

Higher Lank Farm Food Policy
As traditional English farmers, we believe that the food we serve you should be produced locally, in order to conserve the beautiful environment in which we live, keep food miles to the minimum and support our local community.
The food we cook for you is, whenever possible, produced on the farm ourselves or produced by nearby farms and delivered to us. All our animals have a high quality of life, as you will see during your stay, and are reared outdoors. And of course, eggs are from our own free-range chickens.
We grow seasonal fruit and vegetables in our vegetable garden, greenhouse and orchard. Although we are not registered organic, we use no fertilisers or chemicals in the production of our fruit and vegetables and on our fields. We participate in the Countryside Stewardship scheme.
All our apple juice is made and pasturised here and our clotted cream comes from Trewithen Farm.
We use organic produce, when produced in this country or in Europe, but never purchase air freighted goods. We believe that it is better to buy local produce from a known source than imported organic fruit and vegetables. We are committed to only buying British meat.
