Family, twin and triplet friendly farm holidays Cornwall
Once you’ve got your wellies on, there’s lots to do…
Visit our animals whenever you like – just remember to shut the gates.
Explore our woods…
Fish in our beautiful stretch of private river
Or go pond dipping – we’ll lend you nets
Help fill the animals’ water troughs
And of course there’s endless hours of fun in our playgrounds too.
Our farm spreads over 110 acres of the beautiful Camel Valley with a further 25 acres of woodland running alongside the river Camel so there’s plenty to explore. We are very fortunate to farm in an area of outstanding natural beauty. You can spot salmon and brown trout in our stretch of river, and if you’re very lucky an otter too!
Going on a bear hunt?
Adventures galore await when you venture into our private woods. There are lots of spots where you can paddle in the river, go pond dipping or try for a fish or two.
Our farm is a short walk from Bodmin Moor where there’s always lots of wellie boot fun to be had. Besides the vast open spaces to run in, moorland ponies, highland cattle and sheep, there are streams for paddling and spectacular views too. Perfect for a treasure collecting or counting game.
Delphy bridge, Alex Tor and King Arthurs hall are all within easy reach and Roughtor is just a 15 minute drive.
The Camel trail starts minutes from the farm, you can walk, cycle, run or just push a buggy and have a stroll as far as Padstow if you fancy!! Furthermore there’s a wealth of places you can leave the trail and wander down to the river. Or if you fancy a treat The Snails Pace cafe is a must at the start or end of your outing.
