Our farm spreads over 110 acres of the beautiful Camel Valley with a further 25 acres of woodland running alongside the river Camel so there’s plenty to explore.

Going on a bear hunt? Adventures galore await when you venture into our private woods and there are lots of spots where you can paddle in the river, go pond dipping or try for a fish or two.

Our farm is a short walk from Bodmin Moor where there’s always lots of wellie boot fun to be had too. Vast open spaces to run in, moorland ponies, highland cattle and sheep roam freely, there are streams for paddling and spectacular views too. Perfect for a treasure collecting or counting game.

We are minutes from the start of the Camel trail, where there’s bike hire from the Snails Pace cafe with miles of safe car free cycling or walking with or without a buggy. You can go all the way to Padstow as long as you’ve lots of energy!

Higher Lank Farm is a traditional beef farm, proud of its suckler beef herd, sheep, pigs and poultry and farmed by the Finnemore family for over 100 years. The most special thing about staying with us is that because we only take a maximum of 2 families at any one time, Lucy knows every child by name, which ensures that your child, whatever their individual needs will get a hands-on experience with all our animal activities and will truly be made to feel a special part of life on our farm.
