Higher Lank Farm 4 night special breaks

 

Due to the success of our Four Night Special breaks in previous years we are offering them again for 2017. Our special toddler and baby friendly  breaks take place in the farmhouse so there’s..
No cooking
No housework
Just time to play with your children and spend time as a family.
Please phone or email for further details or keep an eye on this page. Our special breaks allow families who do not have the time to spend a whole week with us to enjoy all the experiences we usually offer in our 7 night stays.

Add an extra night or two (Bed and Breakfast only) to your Special Break…
Your toddlers can feed the animals for an extra day. £110 per night per family in term time and £145 in school holiday time.

We also offer allergy friendly breaks, please call to discuss your requirements or hop over to our allergy page.

Day 1 - arrival

Day 1

Arrive between 2-3pm for an afternoon guided tour of all our animals

5pm Tractor and Trailer Adventure to see the cows and calves, before returning to the farmhouse for a family Cornish high tea.

(You won’t have room for any more food today!!)

Day 2

Breakfast served from 8-9am (early cereals available from midnight!!)

Day 2

Morning animal feeding… and a chance for your children to enjoy a pony and trap ride with Pippa the pony. Lots of free time to…

Drive to Rock, take the foot ferry to Padstow, explore, and eat Rick Stein fish and chips, cross back to Rock with fishing nets and fish or paddle on the beach!*

Or

Drive to Fowey, explore and find Ready Money Cove, have lunch*

Cross the river on the little car ferry and head to the Woolly Monkey Sanctuary in Looe*

Lunch – If you prefer a Sunday roast, Bowood Golf Club, Camelford, is a great children friendly option with a really good carvery from 12-2pm. Best to book if you need high chairs or to eat at a particular time. Trelawney Garden Centre, Wadebridge, and Rosarrow Golf Club near Polzeath, also offer carveries.

In the evening – Why not try a pub? – The Old Inn St Breward* serves a carvery all day and evening or St Mabyn Inn*

Or if you fancy splashing out: The Seafood Cafe in Padstow* or The Golden Lion* at St Kew Highway

All of these choices are children friendly. (We are happy to make reservations for you at the pub or restaurant of your choice.)

Day 3

Breakfast served from 8-9am (early cereals available from midnight!!)

Day 3

Morning animal feeding. Just the right amount of free time to…

Visit the Eden Project* or Newquay Zoo* or the Lappa Valley Railway*

And still be back in time for

Nursery teas at 5.30pm.

Complimentary pre dinner drinks and nibbles. Adult supper once the children are settled approx 8pm.

Day 4

Breakfast served from 8-9am (early cereals available from midnight!!)

Morning animal feeding.

Nursery teas for the little ones at 5.30pm

Babysitting night and a chance to sneak off to the pub or somewhere posh like the Seafood restaurant in Padstow, or one of our many local Michelin starred restaurants.

Please settle your children in bed before you leave and be back by 11pm. A later return is possible by arrangement, but will be charged at £10 per part or hour thereafter.

Day 5

Breakfast served from 8-9am (early cereals available from midnight!!)

Day 5

Morning animal feeding, and a chance for your children to enjoy a pony ride on Millie and then time say goodbye to your favourite animals.
